Job summary

Ambitions Personnel in Retford is recruiting a Transport Administrator for a growing FMCG business. You will coordinate deliveries, speak with customers and transport providers, track orders and ensure everything gets where it needs to be.

The role offers a 12-month fixed-term contract, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with a salary of up to £27,500. If you're IT-literate and comfortable with multiple systems, you'll fit right in.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport or logistics administration is essential.
• It and system-literate with ability to learn new software quickly.
• It is important to manage multiple systems across the day.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately.
• Book deliveries with transport companies and couriers.
• Use transport portals and software to arrange and track deliveries.
• Keep customers updated on delivery times and ETAs.
• Chase transport providers and resolve delivery queries.
• Liaise with customers, hauliers, couriers and internal teams.
• Input and update information across multiple systems.
• Support the wider sales office team when required.
