About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Supervisor to join our team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of a busy delivery operation. The successful candidate will lead a team of drivers and pickers, motivating them to achieve their daily targets. We are passionate about customer satisfaction. Excellent telephone and customer service skills are required.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the Delivered Department complies with company policies and procedures, maintaining consistency across all team members.
• Communicating important management information to relevant team members.
• Supervising and maintaining a safe working environment, reporting any health & safety concerns to the store management.
• Promoting and driving the brand image through product knowledge, excellent customer service, and adherence to company guidelines.
• Supporting the delivery manager in ensuring all vehicles are roadworthy and legally compliant.
• Supervising, planning, and coordinating tasks to ensure timely and effective completion.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience supervising a small to medium-sized team in a warehouse or transport environment.
• Experience working in a customer-focused setting.
• Management CPC qualification would be advantageous.
