Job summary

JD.COM INTERNATIONAL UK LTD is seeking a delivery station supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure timely processing and dispatch of packages, and drive safety and quality standards.

You will lead a team of delivery associates and warehouse staff, optimize workflows, report performance, and collaborate with internal and external partners to keep operations efficient in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within logistics, warehousing or delivery operations.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes including sorting, scanning and dispatch.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends and drive efficiency.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for diverse teams.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to safety and quality with knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Valid driver’s license (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate a team of delivery associates and warehouse staff, including training, performance management, and scheduling.
• Manage daily inbound and outbound package flow, including sorting, scanning, and loading.
• Monitor and optimize station performance against key metrics such as on-time delivery and safety.
• Enforce company policies, including safety regulations, quality control standards, and operational guidelines.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain records of package movement and equipment.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and present performance reports to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
