Job summary

JD Logistics UK is seeking a delivery station supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead a team of delivery associates and warehouse staff, and ensure timely processing and dispatch of packages for JD.COM INTERNATIONAL UK LTD.

You will monitor performance against key metrics, implement safety and quality standards, coordinate with internal and external partners, and report on operational results to management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within logistics operations.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes including sorting, scanning, and dispatching.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills to motivate and develop staff.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and improve operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Commitment to safety and quality with knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate a team of delivery associates and warehouse staff, including training, performance management, and scheduling.
• Manage daily inbound and outbound package flow, ensuring accurate sorting, scanning, and loading processes.
• Monitor and optimize station performance against key metrics such as on-time delivery, handling efficiency, and safety compliance.
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety regulations, quality control standards, and operational guidelines.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions and improve workflow.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of package movement and equipment.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders (logistics, customer service) and external partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare and present performance reports to management, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the delivery station.
