Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to bring Waitrose produce and partner-led service to customers' doors. You will also support in-store tasks when not on deliveries and may have DBS vetting requirements.

Flexible, part-time hours spanning weekdays and weekends are available, with a focus on safety, service, and teamwork. The role emphasizes independent work, strong customer interaction, and careful handling of deliveries, alongside in-store support responsibilities

Qualifications

• Full valid B-category UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Great customer service skills.
• Time management skills.
• Able to cope with the physical requirements of the role (e.g. lifting of crates, moving cages).
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Start day in store and be responsible for deliveries.
• Load and prepare van and ensure orders are delivered to customers.
• Perform vehicle safety checks and maintain road compliance.
• Represent the Waitrose brand with excellent customer service.
• Assist customers with shopping and build rapport.
• Support the shop team with general tasks as needed.
