Job summary

Furniture Village in Maidenhead is seeking a Home Delivery Supervisor to lead our delivery fleet and warehouse operations. You will ensure compliance, safety, and exceptional service standards while guiding a hands-on team in a busy distribution centre.

The role emphasises organisation, fleet records, and a proactive approach to delivering a Premier Delivery Service to customers. Weekend rota flexibility is required with a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, warehouse or delivery operations.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Good understanding of fleet compliance, health & safety and operational processes.
• Attention to detail and proactive work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operation of the delivery fleet and warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with legal and operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate vehicle, driver and transport records.
• Oversee warehouse and distribution centre standards for a safe, tidy environment.
• Lead a positive, high-performing team culture and communicate clearly with teams.
