Job summary

GSF Car Parts in the UK is seeking a Van Controller to coordinate delivery runs and ensure our drivers consistently deliver excellent customer service. You will manage the driver team, schedule routes cost-effectively, monitor on-time delivery, and coordinate branch fleet maintenance and servicing.

The role sits at the heart of our fast-growing logistics operation and offers opportunities to develop and progress.

Qualifications

• Experience of motivating a diverse team
• Customer focussed, driven to achieve and willing to go the extra mile
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to train and develop others
• Must have held a driving licence for a minimum of 3 years
• Geographical knowledge of area within a 40 mile radius

Responsibilities

• Managing the driver team
• Co-ordinate delivery runs and orders in the most cost effective way
• Ensure vans deliver on time
• Control and Coordinate branch fleet maintenance and servicing
• Ensure the delivery team can deliver the branches customer service standards
