Job summary

Savona Foodservice Limited is seeking a proactive professional to assist the Distribution Manager with the day-to-day running of the Distribution department. You will help keep fleets compliant, onboard new vehicles, and support routing and driver coverage to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, a good grasp of fleet operations, and a valid Cat C driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in distribution operations and fleet management.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Full valid driving licence (Cat C preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support the Distribution Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Ensure fleet compliance with legal requirements.
• Oversee vehicle onboarding including insurance and O-Licence.
• Cover drivers as needed and assist with routing daily.
• Liaise with Customer Service to maintain service quality.
• Maintain vehicles, sack trucks and vehicle wash readiness.
