Job summary

Furniture Village in Maidenhead is seeking a Home Delivery Supervisor to lead our delivery fleet and warehouse operations. You will ensure compliance, safety, and exceptional service standards while guiding a hands-on team in a busy distribution centre.

The role emphasises organisation, fleet records, and a proactive approach to delivering a Premier Delivery Service to customers. Weekend rota flexibility is required with a strong customer-service mindset.

The Role

We are looking for an organised and motivated Home Delivery Supervisor to join our Maidenhead Distribution Centre. You will support the day‑to‑day operation of our delivery fleet and warehouse, ensuring compliance, safety and exceptional service standards are maintained at all times. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will help your team deliver an outstanding experience to our customers every day.

What you will be doing as a Home Delivery Supervisor

• Support the compliance of the Home Delivery fleet, ensuring all legal and operational requirements are met.
• Maintain accurate vehicle, driver and transport records.
• Ensure vehicles are serviced, maintained and legally compliant.
• Oversee warehouse and distribution centre standards, ensuring a clean, safe and organised environment.
• Help ensure all delivery colleagues consistently deliver a Premier Delivery Service.
• Communicate clearly and confidently with delivery and warehouse teams.
• Support health and safety compliance and safe working practices.
• Lead by example and contribute to a positive, high‑performing team culture.
• Assist in achieving operational targets and service objectives.
