The ideal candidate will be experienced in managing teams, motivated to develop staff, and committed to improving delivery operations. Do you have what it takes?

This role is based at one of our delivery locations, requiring experience, knowledge, and skills in warehouse and transport operations.

Responsibilities
  • Lead your team to ensure efficient, safe trading within legal constraints, and uphold high customer service standards.
  • Manage delivery costs and customer charges to meet targets.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and set challenging goals to minimize payroll costs.
  • Understand the local market to provide the best possible service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Manage your team effectively to meet customer service needs, engaging with customers and using feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to identify opportunities and develop or enhance operational practices.
Minimum requirements
  • Previous experience in deliveries and transport management.
  • Management CPC certification.
  • Experience managing warehouse operations.
  • Strong customer engagement skills and relationship-building ability.
  • Ability to develop new ideas and challenge teams to improve service.
  • Talent identification and team development skills.
  • Motivational skills to foster a customer-centric culture.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder influence.
  • Effective planning and organizational abilities.
  • A proactive, 'hands-on' approach is advantageous.
