This role is based at one of our delivery locations; experience, knowledge, and skills in warehouse and transport operations are essential.
Responsibilities
- Leading your team to ensure the branch trades efficiently, safely, legally, and provides top customer service.
- Managing delivery costs and customer charges to meet targets.
- Identifying efficiency opportunities and setting challenging payroll cost reduction targets.
- Understanding the local market to deliver the best service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Managing your team to cover all customer service needs, engaging with customers, and using feedback for service improvement.
- Collaborating with regional teams to identify opportunities and develop or improve operational methods.
Minimum requirements
- Previous experience in deliveries/transport is essential.
- Management CPC qualification.
- Experience managing a warehouse operation.
- Ability to engage with customers and build strong relationships.
- Skill in developing ideas and challenging teams to improve service.
- Talent identification and team development skills.
- Motivational skills to foster a customer service culture.
