Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a flexible Post Person with Driving in Cannock. You will drive a Royal Mail van and deliver letters and parcels in your community, with parts of your route completed on foot to provide excellent service.

The role combines outdoor activity with customer service; a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points is required. A driving assessment is held on start. Heavily active shifts with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical Fitness: able to walk long distances and handle up to 16 kg.
• Flexibility: ability to work varied shifts at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across the delivery area.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and sometimes deliver on foot parts of the route.
• Ensure secure, on-time delivery in all weather conditions.
