Job summary

Royal Mail is recruiting as a Post Person with Driving via Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd in the United Kingdom. You will drive a Royal Mail van and deliver letters and parcels in your local area, with part of the route completed on foot.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points required for driving a Royal Mail van.
• Be prepared to walk long distances (around 20,000 steps a day) and lift mailbags up to 16kg.
• Shifts vary and require adaptability to short-notice changes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route as the face of Royal Mail in your community.
• Drive the delivery van and complete parts of the route on foot, ensuring items reach destinations safely.
• Attend a driving assessment on start and follow business standards for handling items (election materials, etc.).
