Royal Mail invites applications for flexible (temporary) postal delivery driver positions. You will deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot while serving the community with reliability and care.

Roles offer varied shifts, outdoor activity, and the chance to be the face of Royal Mail in your area. A valid UK manual driving licence with up to six points is required, plus readiness for a driving assessment.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be adaptable to short-notice changes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in the local community by van and on foot.
• Safely handle and deliver all items on the route, including election materials and restricted items.
• Provide excellent service and represent Royal Mail in the neighbourhood.
