Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels across a local route. The role combines driving a Royal Mail van with on-foot delivery, staying active throughout the day and serving the community.

Applicants should hold a full manual UK driving licence, be able to walk long distances, and work varied shifts. Training and a driving assessment are part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk long distances and lift mailbags up to 16kg.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area,including some on foot.
• Drive Royal Mail van routes and ensure items reach destinations safely.
• Handle election materials and restricted items in line with standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and act as the face of Royal Mail in the community.
