Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible delivery drivers to join the Stroud Delivery Office. You’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels by van and on foot as required.

Full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points is required, and you should be prepared to walk up to 20,000 steps daily, lifting up to 16 kg. Shifts vary and a driving assessment will be completed on start. This temporary role offers real community impact and potential progression.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and you may be asked to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of the route on foot as needed.
• Ensure safe delivery and handle election materials in line with standards.
