Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible postal delivery drivers. You will be the face of Royal Mail, delivering letters and parcels in your community, driving a delivery van on some routes and completing parts of your route on foot.

The role requires a full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points, the fitness to walk long distances, and flexibility to work varying shifts. Training and assessment are part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk long distances (approx. 20,000 steps per day) and lift a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Flexible shifts and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your round, driving a Royal Mail van where required.
• Complete parts of your route on foot, ensuring items reach destinations safely and on time.
• Deliver election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail business standards.
