Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible delivery drivers to join our team. You will drive a Royal Mail van and complete routes by foot, delivering letters and parcels in your community in all weather.

The role blends driving with walking, with shift patterns that vary day-to-day to meet service needs. Applicants must have a full UK driving licence with up to six points and be physically able to walk long distances and lift mailbags up to 16kg.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary and require team flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels to your delivery area.
• Drive the Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Safely deliver all items and adhere to Royal Mail standards, including election materials where required.
