Job summary

Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is seeking a Delivery Driver 7.5t for Stockport (SK4 2JZ). You will deliver boilers and radiators to customer sites and building sites, completing 5–10 drops daily within roughly 30 miles of Manchester, with manual handling and loading/unloading responsibilities.

This full‑time role runs 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00, with no weekend work required.

Qualifications

• Full clean C1 driving licence.
• CPC card.
• Digital tachograph.
• Comfortable lifting items to and from vehicles.
• Experience with multi-drop driving.

Responsibilities

• Delivering boilers and radiators to customers sites and building sites.
• Carrying out 5–10 drops per day within about a 30 mile radius of the Manchester area.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of items loading and unloading them from vehicles.
• Build relationships with customers when delivering to sites and provide excellent customer service.

As a Delivery Driver 7.5t based in Stockport (SK4 2JZ) you’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering various items such as boilers and radiators to our customers sites and building sites.
• You will complete anything from 5 -10 drops a day in the within about a 30 mile radius of the Manchester area.
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of items loading and unloading them from vehicles.
• Building relationships with our customers when delivering to sites and providing exceptional customer service.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between 07:00am - 16:00pm with no weekend work required.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:
