Wolseley UK Limited, through Plumb Centre in Neath, is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver (3.5t) for a 25-hour week. You will perform multi-drop deliveries within a 50-mile radius, load/unload goods, and assist in warehouse tasks. A driving licence and a positive attitude are essential.

Formación

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential.
• Previous 3.5t multidrop driving experience is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Drive a 3.5t van for multi-drop deliveries within a 50 mile radius.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers as a brand ambassador.
• Ensure Health & Safety checks on vehicle and load; report defects.
• Assist with loading/unloading when required.
• Support warehouse duties: stock checks, picking/packing, tidying.

Salary: £16,684 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Delivery Driver 3.5t (Part time - 25 hours) - Neath - Plumb Centre

Responsibilities

• Driving a 3.5t van carrying out multi -drop deliveries to our customers within a 50 mile radius of the branch (This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks, and toilets)
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring you are a positive ambassador of the brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment, and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Loading and unloading deliveries where required
• When you are not out on deliveries you will be assisting in the warehouse with duties including unloading incoming stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks, and general tidying

Work Arrangement

This is a permanent part time position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am till 13:00pm.

Requirements

• Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential
• Previous 3.5t multidrop driving is advantageous
• To be familiar with using a handheld PDA
• Prior warehouse experience is preferred
• To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.
• Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.
