Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited – Plumb Centre is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver (3.5t) in Camden to cover 20 hours per week, mornings. You will deliver plumbing and heating supplies, build relationships with customers, and assist with warehouse tasks.

A full clean UK driving licence is required and you’ll be part of a team that keeps our branch running smoothly. Benefits include annual leave, pension (matched up to 9%), potential bonuses, discounts, wellbeing support, and Cycle to Work.

• Previous multidrop experience is ideal but not essential.
• Must be a team player willing to assist in all areas to ensure smooth branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plumbing and heating supplies within the local area
• Build strong relationships with our customers
• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure everything is safe and ready to go
• Load and unload deliveries, including manual handling
• Support with warehouse duties when you’re back from deliveries, including unloading stock, picking & packing orders and carrying out stock checks

Our branches are open Monday to Saturday (Sat. mornings only). This vacancy is for 20 hours (4 hrs/day), Mornings. Working pattern will be discussed at interview stage. We are Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group - a leading specialist trade merchant across the UK and Ireland that puts customers at the heart of everything we do.

Requirements

So, if you’re over the age of 18 and have got:

• A full clean UK Driving Licence
• Previous multidrop driving experience is ideal but not essential
• A genuine desire to be a team player, willing to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch
