Job summary

Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is hiring a 3.5t delivery driver for Neath. The role is part-time, 25 hours per week, with duties including multi-drop deliveries within roughly a 50-mile radius and light warehouse support.

• Drive a 3.5t van delivering to customers within a 50 mile radius.

• Follow health and safety checks and report defects.
• Load and unload deliveries when required.
• Assist in warehouse duties when not on deliveries.

As a 3.5t Delivery Driver based in Neath, you’ll be responsible for:

• Driving a 3.5t van carrying out multi -drop deliveries to our customers within a 50 mile radius of the branch (This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks, and toilets)
• Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring you are a positive ambassador of the brand
• Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment, and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects
• Loading and unloading deliveries where required
• When you are not out on deliveries you will be assisting in the warehouse with duties including unloading incoming stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks, and general tidying

This is a permanent part time position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am till 13:00pm.

• Prior warehouse experience is preferred
