Job summary

Wolseley UK Limited in Bishops Stortford is hiring a Part-time Delivery Driver (3.5t) for 20 hours weekly, mornings. The role involves local deliveries of plumbing and heating supplies and building strong customer relationships.

You will perform safe vehicle checks, assist with loading/unloading, and support warehouse duties as needed, within a supportive branch environment offering bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• A full clean UK Driving Licence.
• Multidrop driving experience is ideal but not essential.
• A genuine desire to be a team player, willing to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.

• Carry out daily vehicle checks to ensure everything is safe and ready to go.
• Load and unload deliveries, including manual handling.
• Support with warehouse duties when you’re back from deliveries, including unloading stock, picking & packing orders and carrying out stock checks.

Our branches are open Monday to Saturday (Sat. mornings only) This vacancy is for 20 hours (4 hrs/day), Mornings. Working pattern will be discussed at the interview stage. We are Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group - a leading specialist trade merchant across the UK and Ireland that puts customers at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities

• Deliver plumbing and heating supplies within the local area
