Job summary

Plumb Centre, part of the Wolseley Group, is recruiting a part-time Delivery Driver 3.5t in Neath. You’ll carry out multi‑drop deliveries within a 50‑mile radius, loading heavy stock and representing the brand professionally.

You’ll work 25 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8:00–13:00), with warehouse duties when not on deliveries. A Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential; previous 3.5t multidrop and handheld PDA experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Experience with 3.5t multi-drop deliveries is advantageous.
• Familiarity with handheld PDA devices preferred.
• Prior warehouse experience is a plus.
• Able to work as part of a team and support branch operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 3.5t van performing multi-drop deliveries within ~50 miles of Neath.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and represent Plumb Centre positively.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects; load/unload deliveries as needed.
• Assist in warehouse duties when not on deliveries, including stock checks and order picking.

As a **3.5t Delivery Driver** based in **Neath**, you’ll be responsible for: * Driving a 3.5t van carrying out multi -drop deliveries to our customers within a 50 mile radius of the branch (This will involve manual handling heavy stock e.g. boilers, radiators, sinks, and toilets)* Building and maintaining excellent relationships with customers ensuring you are a positive ambassador of the brand* Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are adhered to, carrying out a daily check on the vehicle, equipment, and load for which you have responsibility and reporting any defects* Loading and unloading deliveries where required* When you are not out on deliveries you will be assisting in the warehouse with duties including unloading incoming stock, picking & packing orders, stock checks, and general tidying This is a permanent part time position working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am till 13:00pm.**And here’s what we’d like you to have:** * Full UK Manual Driving Licence is essential* Previous 3.5t multidrop driving is advantageous* To be familiar with using a handheld PDA* Prior warehouse experience is preferred* To be a team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure the smooth running of the branch.* Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.**We look forward to receiving your application!**
