Job summary

Kainos is seeking a Product Consultant to own backlogs, drive MVP thinking, and guide agile delivery from inception to deployment. You will run workshops, facilitate stakeholder alignment, and mentor junior team members.

A client-facing role within the Defence sector requires excellent collaboration and communication with external customers. Active DV clearance is required, and you will engage with a range of stakeholders to ensure value delivery while managing scope, timelines, and quality

Qualifications

• Experience delivering bespoke software as part of an agile team for an external customer.
• Defence sector experience.
• Active DV clearance.
• Experience across the software development lifecycle from analysis to live operation.
• Excellent workshop facilitation to drive outcomes with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to model current and future business processes for buy-in.
• Strong stakeholder management and adaptable communication styles.

Responsibilities

• Owns team backlog maturity and feature delivery from inception to MVP.
• Leads agile ceremonies and engages stakeholders to align on priorities.
• Plans and runs workshops with diverse teams to enable consensus.
• Coaches and develops junior team members in delivery practices.
• Contributes to sales activities such as bids and proposals when needed.
