Job summary

Quest Global in the United Kingdom is seeking a Software Transition Manager to lead ILS transition activities across products, systems and equipment, focusing on services that support digital assets including hardware, software and data.

You will coordinate multiple stakeholder groups, produce actionable reports, and drive improvements while ensuring alignment with customer requirements and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in highly regulated defence or similar sectors.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, firmware, data and network infrastructure.
• Experience owning end-to-end support deliverables.
• Experience evaluating and improving support solutions using in-service data.
• Experience writing and reviewing clear technical documentation for customers.
• Ability to organise stakeholder meetings and drive projects forwards.
• Understanding of systems engineering, requirements management and verification.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the client to ensure requirements are understood and the problem definition is captured effectively.
• Carry out supportability assessments and analysis related to digital assets, computer resources and software as well as evaluating and investigating technical issues.
• Support or lead the transition of digital support policies, services and procedures.
• Support or lead the development and maintenance of technical documentation in line with customer process.
• Apply a practical systems thinking approach to understand the wider system interactions and solutions.
• Be adaptable, as project requirements evolve, and ensure relevant parties are notified of changes in the project.
• Drive customer satisfaction.
