Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead end-to-end transition into a new programme within a complex IT service management environment. The role requires governance, customer engagement and operational leadership to ensure contractual commitments and milestones are met.

The ideal candidate will own transition planning, manage RAID, coordinate cross-functional teams and drive successful delivery in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• Strong project/programme management skills within complex IT environments.
• Good knowledge of ITIL, ITSM and service transition practices.
• Strong planning, RAID management, risk mitigation and issue-resolution capability.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, SMEs and cross-functional dependencies.
• Strong governance, reporting and documentation disciplines.
• Experience with MS Project, SharePoint and Teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a delivery-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end governance and leadership for transition into the new programme, ensuring activities are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations and customer requirements.
• Establish and maintain a transition governance framework with controls, reporting, escalation routes and decision-making forums.
• Develop, baseline and maintain transition schedules with milestones and dependencies.
• Own the transition RAID framework and drive risk/issue resolution with clear owners and dates.
• Coordinate SMEs and decision-makers to resolve blockers and manage cross-functional dependencies.
• Lead stakeholder engagement at project, programme and leadership levels; facilitate governance reviews and sessions.
• Maintain all transition artefacts in a controlled repository as the single source of truth.
