Job summary

WSP is seeking Delivery Leads in the Defence and Security sector to manage high‑value infrastructure projects. You will report to the Senior Delivery Lead and oversee scope, resources, finances and schedules, with security protocols and client management integral to the role.

You must have proven DS sector experience and PM qualifications; an existing network in defence, and eligibility for security clearance are essential. The role supports hybrid working across office and client sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Defence and Security sector in a project/programme management capacity delivering construction or infrastructure projects
• Degree in relevant technical discipline (engineering, building, quantity surveying, science, project or construction management) and PM qualifications
• Eligible to achieve Security Clearance and existing network within the Defence and Security sector

Responsibilities

• Scope and resource management, finance and schedule monitoring, change control, risk management and client management
• Chair meetings, write reports, organise resources and monitor finances
• Work on projects spanning the RIBA design stages in a growing defence and security team

Education

Degree in engineering, construction or similar

Recognised PM qualification (PMI/APM/RICS/CIOB)
