Job summary

Elastic, the Search AI Company, is seeking a Senior Public Sector Account Executive to expand our footprint within UK Defence. You will drive demand, build strategic relationships, and close complex deals across Observability, Search, Security and Cloud solutions.

You'll work with Defence customers, leveraging a strong network and open source mindset, while navigating security clearances and the UK public sector procurement landscape to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Proven sales track record in Defence with quota overachievement.
• Experience selling SaaS including Enterprise Search, Logging, Security, APM and Cloud.
• Ability to build credibility with Defence stakeholders and navigate the sector.

Responsibilities

• Build awareness and drive demand for Elastic solutions within Defence.
• Serve as evangelist for Open Source offerings while communicating commercial capabilities to stakeholders.
• Uncover new use cases to derive maximum value for customers.
• Collaborate across Elastic functions to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Manage the sales cycle with Defence customers and close complex transactions.
• Develop a robust territory plan through community, customer and partner ecosystems to grow Elastic.
