Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for defence projects across the UK. You will deliver cost control, forecasting and value engineering within our Defence portfolio, liaising with clients and contractors on complex programmes.

Hybrid working is offered; candidates should be eligible for UK MoD security clearance. The role involves on-site client work and office collaboration to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Estimating, Quantity Surveying or Cost Engineering
• Experience in Infrastructure sector (Rail, air, power, highways)
• Strong cost modelling and reporting skills
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities

Responsibilities

• Establish professional relationships with clients and project teams
• Administer contracts per project objectives and policies
• Provide cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to budget
• Monitor cost variance and cash flow, ensure timely applications
• Support change management and final accounts negotiation
• Promote estimating best practice within Turner & Townsend
