Job summary

Turner & Townsend is actively seeking talented Quantity Surveyors to join our Defence team across the UK. You will work on a range of complex defence infrastructure programmes, delivering cost estimates, cost models, and cost control while collaborating with client teams and contractors.

You will operate in a hybrid model with 60% site/office attendance and flexible working arrangements. Strong communication and professional body membership are preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Estimating, Quantity Surveying or Cost Engineering.
• Experience of working in the Infrastructure sector.
• Compilation, assurance and delivery of complex estimates and cost models.
• Working within an integrated Project Controls team.
• Single-sourced, non-competed public procurement.
• Excellent and flexible skills in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience of working in a client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Establish friendly, professional relationships with clients and project teams.
• Administer contracts in line with project objectives and governance.
• Provide cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion within budget.
• Monitor cost variance and contract cash flow; ensure timely applications.
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams to deliver KPIs and value engineering.
