Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director/Project Director - Quantity Surveyor for Defence in the UK. The role focuses on end-to-end cost management across complex commissions, with a heavy emphasis on client interface and value engineering.

Hybrid working is offered, and MoD clearance eligibility is required. The successful candidate will have extensive QS experience, strong leadership, and a track record in Defence or major infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Estimating, Quantity Surveying or Cost Engineering is required or preferred.
• Experience in Defence or large infrastructure programmes is advantageous.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end cost management on complex Defence commissions.
• Act as the key client interface to meet objectives and deliver value-added cost service.
• Oversee procurement, cost planning, reporting and change control processes.
