Job summary

Babcock International is recruiting an IT Customer Support Specialist to provide day-to-day IT support for a defence training environment at RNAS Culdrose, Helston. You will help keep training systems, hardware, software and AV equipment running, delivering reliable service to users and stakeholders.

Working onsite, you will handle incidents and requests, perform inductions for new starters, and support training environments and classrooms while building strong relationships with IT teams and

Qualifications

• Experience providing second-line IT support in a professional setting.
• Experience supporting users in a Windows and Microsoft technology environment.
• Strong customer service, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to deliver services within agreed standards.

Responsibilities

• Supporting users with IT incidents and service requests, delivering a quality customer experience.
• Escalation point for local operational IT issues and flying training events.
• Maintaining IT hardware, software, telecoms and AV equipment across the site.
• Providing IT inductions for new starters, including hardware and user accounts.
• Configuring and supporting training environments and classroom tech deployments.
