As an IT Customer Support Specialist, you’ll provide the day-to-day interface between customers, operational stakeholders, and Babcock's internal IT teams. Working within a dynamic defence environment, you'll support the delivery and maintenance of IT services, hardware, audio-visual equipment, telecommunications and training systems that are essential to military flying training. This role offers a unique blend of technical support, customer engagement, and operational responsibility.
Day-to-day, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to join a team supporting the UK Military Flying Training System, where technology plays a vital role in preparing military personnel for the challenges of tomorrow. You'll be at the heart of delivering exceptional IT support, ensuring training environments remain operational, connected, and effective. Every day, your work will help enable critical defence training while giving you the opportunity to develop your technical expertise, build strong stakeholder relationships, and grow your career within a global engineering and technology organisation.
This role is full time, 37.5 hours per week and is based on site at RNAS Culdrose, Helston, Cornwall.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
