Job summary

Citizens Advice WakefieldDistrict is seeking a motivated Debt Adviser to deliver FCA-regulated debt advice and casework across phone, in person, webchat and email. You will support clients with priority and non-priority debt, budgeting and income maximisation, while engaging with third parties to find solutions.

The role requires accreditation in Money Advice to casework level (or near completion) and a commitment to ongoing professional development, with a minimum of 1 year of debt advice

Qualifications

• Accreditation in Money Advice to casework level or higher.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in debt advice delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, FCA regulated debt advice and casework over multiple channels (phone, in person, webchat, email).
• Liaise and negotiate with third parties to manage varied debt-related issues.
• Advise clients on debt solutions, budgeting and maximising income to empower clients.
