Job summary

Citizens Advice is seeking an experienced Debt Adviser and Caseworker to join our busy Money Advice Team. You will interview clients, gather information from creditors and bank statements, and prepare accurate budgets to identify options for managing debts.

You will support clients to implement agreed plans, manage a caseload, and review progress regularly. A trainee may be considered with appropriate salary rate until accreditation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering debt advice is required; trainees considered (trainee pay).
• Ability to interview clients and gather financial information.
• Capable of managing a caseload and reviewing progress regularly.

Responsibilities

• Interview clients to gather financial information and assess options.
• Produce accurate financial statements and budgets from statements and letters.
• Support clients to implement agreed plans and progress reviews.
• Manage and progress a caseload within the Money Advice Team.
