Railpen is seeking an experienced pensions professional to lead the mobilisation, stabilisation and embedding of a new DC administration team on an eighteen-month fixed-term contract in Darlington with hybrid working (two days in the office).

You will report to the Head of DC Pension Administration and help deliver a high-quality service for members and employers while embedding sustainable ways of working.

Qualifications

• Strong DC pension administration experience in a complex environment.
• Experience mobilising or stabilising pensions administration projects.
• Knowledge of DC administration processes: investments, reconciliations, and controls.
• Experience in regulated environments with risk management practices.
• Hands-on delivery with governance and service standards.

Responsabilités

• Support mobilisation, implementation and stabilisation of the DC administration team.
• Work with Head of DC Pension Administration to prioritise workloads and embed effective ways of working.
• Maintain and improve service performance, controls, accuracy and timeliness across DC activities.
• Provide leadership support, coaching and knowledge transfer to team members and future leaders.
• Monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs; manage risks, issues and incidents.
• Identify improvements to strengthen quality, efficiency and member outcomes.
