Job summary

HIVED, based in London, seeks a Day Ops Manager to lead the day shift for all UTR/OTR activities, manage a driver team and supervise on-site operations. You will bridge night-to-day handovers, maintain safety and standards, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-growing, climate-tech logistics startup.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience leading fast-paced OTR/dispatch/last-mile operations.
• Strong command of driver operations, route execution and dispatch accuracy.
• Hands-on shift leadership with 30–100+ staff via supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead day shift operations to deliver optimal OTR/UTR performance.
• Receive and handover between night and day shifts; ensure safe, compliant operations.
• manage labour planning, safety audits and continuous improvement.
• maintain strong cross-functional communication with drivers and supervisors.
• drive on-site performance metrics and escalation handling.
