Job summary

HIVED is seeking an on-site Operations Coordinator in London to keep drivers at the heart of daily operations and ensure high delivery performance. You will be the primary contact for driver inquiries, support, and compliance within a fast-paced startup environment.

You’ll work a 4 days on, 3 days off shift pattern with weekends included, reporting to the Operations Manager. The role emphasizes relationship-building, data-driven decision-making, and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related working experience with logistics/last-mile
• Hands-on approach to managing and developing team members
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Capable of rapid decision-making and efficient problem resolution
• Ability to leverage resources effectively and efficiently
• Experience leveraging data for effective decision-making
• Demonstrates resilience and professionalism in difficult situations
• Valid UK driving license required

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of an assigned driver team.
• Champion initiatives that foster a positive driver experience and promote retention.
• Overseeing all aspects of the assigned driver team, serving as the primary point of contact for driver inquiries and support at HIVED.
• Ensure driver compliance with HIVED's requirements and expectations.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure driver excellence via check-ins and ride-alongs.
