Job summary

HIVED in London is seeking a Night Ops Manager to oversee all UTR/night-time activities in a high-growth last-mile logistics network. You will lead Shift Managers and Supervisors, ensure safe, accurate handovers, and drive continuous improvement in night operations.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality inbound processing, set-off readiness, and cost-efficient, scalable depot performance during night hours.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years’ experience leading fast-paced Nightshifts / last-mile operations.
• Strong understanding of processing SLAs, routing cut-offs.
• Hands-on shift leadership with ability to manage 30–100+ staff via supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift during rotation - managing Shift Managers, Coordinators - to deliver exceptional OTR & UTR daytime performance.
• Receive handover from Day team, deliver strong handover to Day Manager & GM - bridge metrics.
• Lead & inspire, develop and performance manage team on night shift rotation.
• UTR: Drives continuous improvement initiatives & develop standards and procedures.
• Maintain safety, standards, and productivity discipline.
