Job summary

HIVED in London is seeking an Operations Coordinator (level 2) to be the on-site contact for drivers, ensuring high delivery performance and driver satisfaction. This role reports to the Operations Manager and follows a 4 days on, 3 days off pattern, including one weekend day.

You will manage day-to-day driver team operations, promote retention initiatives, ensure driver compliance, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive excellence through regular check-ins and ride-alongs.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related working experience with logistics/last-mile preference.
• Hands-on approach to managing and developing team members.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Capable of rapid decision-making and efficient problem resolution.
• Ability to leverage available resources effectively and efficiently.
• Experience leveraging data for effective decision-making.
• Demonstrates resilience and professionalism in difficult situations.
• Valid UK driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of an assigned driver team.
• Champion initiatives that foster a positive driver experience and promote retention.
• Overseeing of all aspects of assigned driver team, serving as the primary point of contact for driver inquiries and support at HIVED.
• Ensure driver compliance with HIVED's requirements and expectations.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure driver excellence via check-ins and ride-alongs.
