Job summary

Somerset Larder is recruiting a general assistant for a new opening at Royal Portbury docks. Provide meals for staff during breakfast and lunch, work on the till and servery, and support the kitchen team with front-of-house duties.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 2 (or able to achieve on appointment)
• Health & Safety qualification (or able to achieve on appointment)
• Basic COSHH

Responsibilities

• Serve meals, snacks & drinks and take payments.
• Clean equipment, crockery & cutlery as required.
• Assist with building made-to-order sandwiches and plates from the service line.
• Ensure food handled in line with Food Safety & Quality Management System.
• Receive deliveries and check supplier invoices.
• Comply with food safety, health & safety and company policies.
• Complete HACCP paperwork accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with front-of-house to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
