Job summary

Somerset Larder in Bristol is hiring to support the kitchen and catering service. The role covers food preparation, basic cooking, front-of-house duties, and customer care with occasional delivery tasks. Daytime hours ensure no late-night shifts, and 39 hours per week are on offer.

You’ll work across restaurants and service counters, upholding high standards of hygiene, safety and customer service while collaborating with kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Qualifications

• Food Safety 2 within 30 days of starting work
• Health and Safety Qualification (desirable)
• Relevant catering or hospitality qualification (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Assist with prep, cooking and presentation of meals across services.
• Prepare ingredients, sandwiches, salads and hot meals per recipes.
• Support chefs to maintain quality standards.
• Handle portioning, packing and labelling for service/delivery.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures.
