Job summary

Somerset Larder is seeking a food service assistant to support the Night Manager across various food service areas at our HPC site. You will help with food preparation, serve meals and beverages, take payments, and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Role involves following the Food Safety & Quality Management System and participating in HACCP if required. Availability for occasional travel may be required as part of the site operations.

Qualifications

• Evidence of right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chef's and Front of House Manager in the preparation and cooking of food.
• Serve meals, snacks & drinks including taking payments.
• Clean all equipment, crockery & cutlery as required.
• Support, operate and provide service in areas including but not limited to: Serveries, Retail, Hospitality, Functions, Coffee Shops.
• Ensure all food is handled in accordance with the standards specified in the Food Safety & Quality Management System.
• Carry out and record checks specified by the Site Manager, Catering Manager, Front of House Manager.
• Ensure all waste is removed promptly and placed in the correct waste containers in accordance with site waste management plan.
