Job summary

Unilever in Port Sunlight is seeking a Days Maintenance Engineer - Multiskilled to own the PM and Tags Management processes on the production line. You will drive continuous improvement and build technical capability in operators, while coordinating maintenance activities to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include deploying PM standards, planning meetings, managing spare parts inventory, and leading breakdown elimination exercises using WCM methodologies to achieve higher MTBF and asset

Qualifications

• OSHE processes including risk assessment, 80/20 system, and permit to work.
• WCM tools: 7 tools, Kaizen, PM, AM, FI.
• Maintenance techniques: CBM, FMEA, predictive techniques: oils analysis, thermograph, vibration.
• Mechanical/Electrical: skilled in one discipline and instructed in the other; formal qualification and NVQ4.

Responsibilities

• Owns the PM process for the line, including deployment and KPI reporting for meetings and CI.
• Owns PM standards, including technical documentation and continuous improvement of standards.
• Owns Tags Management & planning process for the line and weekly PM/Tags planning meetings.
• Orders spare parts and supports maintenance planning with inventory policy updates.
• Owns Breakdown Elimination process, deployment, execution and KPI reporting.
• Supports engineers with the Breakdown Elimination Process.
• Complete EWOs to root cause using WCM methodology.
• Coaches operators and emerging engineers on processes.
• Supports and leads problem solving sessions within 90-day and weekly/monthly plans.
