Job summary

Greencore is hiring a Manufacturing Line Leader for days at Tilmanstone near Dover. You will oversee production lines, ensure GMP and food safety, and coach a team in a fast-paced, non-stop environment. Training and development are emphasized within a large multinational group.

The site, home to around 850 colleagues, offers career paths across a diverse range of products, with strong emphasis on health & safety and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is essential.
• Previous Team Leader/Supervisory experience is desirable.
• Plenty of drive, motivation and ambition.
• The ability to be hardworking and a good team player.
• A keen eye for detail and a good understanding of English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Encourage a safe working environment by supporting and enforcing standards.
• Ensure team perform to quality standards (GMP, food safety, quality, housekeeping).
• Manage performance and attendance including disciplinary action and returns to work.
• Coach and train operatives in health & safety and quality procedures.
• Drive improvements including KPIs, waste management and production control.
• Deploy team effectively and manage shift changes to avoid disruption.
• Assist with recruitment and induction in conjunction with HR.
• Produce admin data/reports (DWOR, T&A, holidays).
