Job summary

Greencore is hiring at Tilmanstone near Dover in Kent for a Factory Team Leader on days. The site manufactures a wide range of chilled products and employs around 850 people, with a fast-paced, high-pressured environment that values safety and quality.

You will lead a small, dedicated team on non-stop production lines, ensuring GMP, food safety and housekeeping standards are met, while coaching staff, managing performance, and maintaining effective communication with HR and other departments.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is essential.
• Previous Team Leader/Supervisory experience is desirable.
• Good understanding of Food Safety and GMP standards.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Encourage a safe working environment by applying Health and Safety policy.
• Coach and train operatives on health, safety and quality procedures.
• Manage performance, attendance and disciplinary actions at first line level.
• Ensure correct deployment of the team to meet production plans; oversee breaks and changeovers.
• Support HR with recruitment and induction; produce required data and reports.
