Job summary

Greencore at Tilmanstone, near Dover in Kent, is hiring a Manufacturing Line Leader for the dayshift. You’ll work on a fast-paced, high-volume line, ensuring safe conditions, quality standards and efficient production.

You’ll lead a team, coach staff, manage attendance and shift handovers, and drive improvements with HR support. This permanent role offers training and clear career progression within a large multinational food company.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is essential.
• Previous Team Leader/Supervisory experience is desirable.
• Good understanding of English and Maths.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe working environment and adherence to Health & Safety policy.
• Coach and train operatives on GMP, food safety, quality and housekeeping.
• Manage performance, attendance and return-to-work procedures.
• Support improvement activities including KPIs, waste management and production control.
• Coordinate deployment, breaks and shift changes to maintain productivity.
• Participate in staff recruitment with HR and produce data/reports such as DWOR, T&A and holiday management.
