Job summary

Greencore currently seeks a proactive Factory Team Leader for days at our Tilmanstone site near Dover. You'll lead a fast-paced production line, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency while coaching a team of operatives.

Working in a high-volume environment, you will manage performance, attendance, and deployment, support HR processes, and contribute to continuous improvement with KPIs and waste reduction. Daily shifts are 06:00–16:00, 4 on/2 off.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience essential.
• Previous Team Leader/Supervisory experience desirable.
• Experience with Food Safety and GMP.
• Good English and Maths understanding.

Responsibilities

• Encourage a safe working environment and enforce health and safety standards.
• Ensure team meet quality standards (GMP, food safety, product quality, housekeeping).
• Manage performance and attendance, including disciplinary actions and reviews.
• Coach and train operatives in health and safety and quality procedures.
• Manage improvements including KPIs, waste management and production control.
• Ensure breaks and shift changeover do not disrupt productivity and workflow.
• Collaborate with HR on recruitment and induction.
• Produce data/reports such as DWOR, T&A and holiday management.
