Qualifications

About the Company

Our client is a successful group in the service industry with operations across the UK and Europe. As a result of the organisation’s continued expansion, a number of large projects have been generated which has created a pressing need for a BI/SQL Server Developer within the Data team.

Core Skill Requirements

• SQL Server – Experience with SQL Server 2016 or later, strong T‑SQL expertise, writing queries, views, stored procedures and functions
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Database design/implementation – showing a strong understanding of relational database design / entity relationship
• Data warehouse design/implementation – showing a strong understanding of star schema / Kimball

Whilst not essential, skills in SSRS, Power BI, Power Query, C# and DAX would be helpful.

Work Arrangement

This will be a hybrid role with the job holder required to work on site in the Reading office 2 days per week. The job holder must be a business‑focused self‑starter who is motivated to work from home as well as from the office.
